Battery Guides
Follow these steps to replace batteries safely. If your device remains offline after replacement, see FAQs or contact your supplier/support channel.
Step 1/4 — Open casing
Using a Phillips screwdriver, first open all 6 screws of the device.
Step 2/4 — Replace batteries
Now lift off the lid of the device and replace the old batteries with new AA batteries.
Step 3/4 — Reattaching the circuit board
If the circuit board has been detached from the device when replacing the batteries, make sure that it is correctly snapped back into place. Check that the board cannot be turned sideways.
Step 4/4 — Screwing the lid back on
When screwing the lid back on, it is best to use a torque spanner with 0.3 Nm set. If there is no more gap between the cover and the housing it is tight enough. Screwing crosswise is important.
